He was born on December 15, 1945 in the village of Mitrofanivka in the Novgorod region of the Kirovograd region. He graduated from the Kiev State Art Institute. Teachers in the specialty: T. Golembievskaya, V. Shatalin. From 1974 to 1994, Anatoly Yanev worked as a painter-painter of the Kirovograd art-production workshops of the Art Fund of Ukraine. Since 1978 he takes part in republican and foreign art exhibitions. In 1989 he was admitted to the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. In 1994-1996 years. taught at the Kirovohrad State Pedagogical University named after Vladimir Vinnichenko, in 1996-1999. – in the Kirovograd City Children’s Art School named after Alexander Osmerkin. Yanev is a laureate of the Kirovograd regional award in the field of fine arts and art named after A. Osmerkin in the nomination “National Tradition” (2005). He is one of the leading realist artists in the Kirovohrad region, which defends the traditions of Ukrainian fine arts. The works of Anatoly Nikitovich are marked by the brightness of the colors and their harmonious combination. With a confident, unconstrained smear, he conveys the diversity of the world around him in all its manifestations: from the restrained palette of a gloomy winter day to the open colors of the Crimean sun. The artist works fruitfully in easel painting techniques, portrait genres, still life, thematic painting. One of the leading genres in the work of A. Yanev is landscape.
