Soviet artist of arts and crafts, ceramist, sculptor. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Born January 15, 1923 in the village of Sheremetovka (Pirogov Vinnytsia region). He graduated from the Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1959). Teachers by specialty – T. Porozhnyak, V. Monastyrsky, D. Dovboshinsky. He worked in the decorative arts (art ceramics). Major works: decorative plates “Happy Valley” (1960); “Dreaming Catherine” (1961); decorative dishes of the “Duma on Ukraine” (1963); “Again in Ukraine” (1964) and others. Participated in republican and international exhibitions since 1969.
