Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. He was born on August 29, 1933 in Lugansk (Voroshilovgrad). He graduated from the Kharkov Art Institute (1960). Teachers by specialty – G. Bondarenko, V. Mironenko. Member of the CPSU. Worked in the field of easel painting, graphics. The master of the subject – thematic picture. Painting is inherent in the perfect composition, dynamics and magnificent color. Major works: the series “At the Lugansk Diesel Locomotive Plant” (1960); “According to Soviet Estonia (1965)”; “At the Lugansk airport” (1966), “Factory wedding” (1969) and others. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1960. The works of the painter are widely represented in many public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
