Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Tamara Ivanovna Egorova was born in Odessa in 1925. In 1944-47 she studied at the Odessa Art School (O.G.U. behalf of M.B.Grekov). Her teachers were L.E. Muchnik, P.S. Canovsky. From 1947 to 1954 she studied at the Kiev State Art Institute in the department of easel painting (teachers TN Yablonskaya, AA Shovkunenko, VN Kostetsky). Teacher of the Academy of Arts since 1957. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1954. Participant of city, regional, republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions. The palette of Tamara Yegorova is light and luminous, an artist committed to the realistic method, as the painter is working along the lines of the tradition of the South Russian school. Works are in the museums of Ukraine and Russia, as well as in many private collections in Ukraine and abroad: thematic paintings, portraits, landscapes, still lifes. Lives and works in Odessa.
