Soviet Ukrainian painter. Honored Artist of the USSR. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Master of landscape and still life. A great impressionist, a wonderful colorist. He was born on November 25, 1918 in the village of Krasny Yar, Odessa region. In 1939 he graduated from the Perm Art College, since 1941 he studied at the Kiev Art Institute from S. Grigoriev, F. Mikheev, E. Shuisky. Since 1946 he took part in republican and all-union exhibitions, individual exhibitions were held in 1946, 1962 and 1982. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. The title of Honored Artist of Ukraine awarded in 1982. Major works: “The Sea” (1957); “Kiev. Where there was the Goat Marsh “,” Tisza River “(1963); “Kiev is being built” (1967); “Kiev. April “and others. Participated in exhibitions: Republican, All-Union. The works are presented in many museums of Ukraine and private collections, are highly appreciated by collectors and enjoy unchanged success at painting auctions.
