Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Union of Artists. He was born on September 11, 1908 in Kameni-on-Obi, Altai Territory. He graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I. Yu. Repin (1946). Teachers by specialty – V. Meshkov, Yu. Neprintsev, M. Bobishev, I. Segal. Member of the KIRS. He worked in the easel painting industry. Major works: “Sailor – heroes of the defense of Odessa” (1949), portrait of Hero of Socialist Labor M. Posmitny (1960); a group portrait of collective farmers of the artel named after the XXI Congress of the CPSU, Heroes of Socialist Labor (1960); “Link of the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the Ukrainian SSR N. Longova” (1965); portrait of twice Hero of the Socialist Work of P. Vedoti (1967) V.I. Lenin proclaims Soviet power (1968) and others. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1947, foreign since 1965. The works of the painter are widely represented in many public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
