Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Georgy Vladimirovich Tolpekin was born on February 18, 1922 in Kiev. Member of the Great Patriotic War. Marked with military awards. In 1952 he graduated from the Kiev State Art Institute. The teacher is K. Trokhimenko. Member of the USSR Union of Artists. Since 1949 Tolpekin GV – participant of republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions. Main exhibitions: 1958 – Republican art exhibition dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Komsomol, Central Exhibition Pavilion, Kiev; 1958 – All-Union Art Exhibition “40 YEARS OF Komsomol”, Central Exhibition Hall, Moscow; 2013 – an exhibition of marinistic painting “AquaMarine”, Chernigov Regional Art Museum. G. Galagan. Worked in the field of easel painting. The main works: “M. Gorky and M. Kotsiubynsky on Capri “(1952),” The Road to the Collective Farm “(1952),” View of the Mountain Cat “(1957),” Ukrainian Spring “(1958),” Morning on the Dnieper “(1959),” Year 1943. The Road to Leningrad (1964), The Chereda (1961), The Guardian of the Fatherland (1967), The Carpathians (1970), The Roses (1976), Flowers and Fruits (1978) Winter “(1985),” Morning.
