“The Prophet Jeremiah”

Ukrainian painter. Grigory Petrovich Vovk was born in 1954 on the outskirts of the city of Poltava. In 1972 he graduated from the Poltava Art School. Teachers: Kharchenko PN, Deryabin VI, Myts PG, Kirichenko E.F. In 1979 he graduated from the OGHU. M.B. Grekova – painting faculty. Teachers: Krishtopenko VV, Lukin SI The beginning of the exhibition activity: apartment exhibitions in the Greek school 1977-1979. For 2011, a participant of more than 100 different exhibitions. Of these, 18 are personal. Since 2009, member of the Professional Union of Artists of the Russian Federation (Moscow). Works in the technique of easel and monumental painting. Addition is the graphics, installation, small wooden color sculpture. Works are in the Odessa Art Museum, MISO, the museum of personal collections. A.V. Bleschunova (Odessa), the Museum of Fine Arts. A.Belogo (Ilyichevsk), in private collections in Odessa, Kiev, Riga, Israel, Paris, New York, Poland.
