Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Rudametkin Viktor Petrovich was born in 1937 in the city of Dnepropetrovsk. He graduated from Dnepropetrovsk Art School. He worked in the easel painting industry. A magnificent colorist and outstanding landscape painter. Worked in the technique of early post-impressionism Paul Cezanne. For a long time he was friends and worked with the artist Mikhail Kokin; they were connected by common creative research, the search for new forms and approaches in painting. The artist’s paintings are characterized by amazing lyricism, tonal diversity and dynamics. Characteristic work in the direction of non-conformism. Lived and worked in Dnepropetrovsk. Landscapes of the artist are in demand in the art market of Ukraine and other countries and are in many public and private collections. He died in 2014 in Dnepropetrovsk.
