Ukrainian Soviet painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Vladimir Ivanovich Sytnik was born in 1939. In 1963 he graduated from the Kiev State Art Institute, where he studied under M. Khmelko, I. Shtilman, V. Kostetskiy, T. Yablonskaya. The participant of city, republican and all-union art exhibitions. Master of the portrait. Sytnik V.I. – Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Worked in the field of easel painting. The husband of the well-known Ukrainian artist – Honored Art Worker of Ukraine Titova Olga Gennadievna. The main works: “Kosov” (1967), “In the mountains” (1967), “Portrait of test pilot VA Kalinin” (1968), (1973), “Frontier guards” and many others. Works by V.I. Sytnik are represented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad, are extremely rare. He passed away in 1982.
