Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Honored Artist of the USSR. Born: November 22, 1922 in the city of Kiev. He studied: “Kiev Art Institute” 1944-1950. Teachers in the specialty: A. Shovkunenko, A. Sirotenko, O. Fomin, T. Yablonskaya, M. Ivanov, graduated from the workshop of A. Shovkunenko. The thesis “People of collective farm fields” was especially noted at the All-Union Art Exhibition. Member of the Union since 1950. In 1964 was awarded a government award for the painting “T. Shevchenko in his native land. ” Painter, graphic artist. The main genres are a thematic picture, a portrait, a landscape. Honored Artist of the USSR (1985). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1950). Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky 3rd degree (2003). Participant of the 2nd World War. State and military awards. Taught: “Kiev Institute of Decorative and Applied Art and Design. M. Boychuk »1951-1952 gg. Participated in exhibitions: city, regional, republican, all-Union (1949).
