Soviet Ukrainian artist. Member of the USSR SS. Nina Pavlovna Volkov was born on January 28, 1917 in the village of. Uber of the Kirov Region in Russia. In 1936 he graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk Art College, where he studied at M. Panin. In 1946 he graduated from Kiev Art Institute, where her teachers were K. Eleev, K. Trochimenko, M. Sharonov.
Volkova N.P. – participant of art exhibitions: Republican since 1947, All-Union and foreign since 1948. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Worked in the field of easel painting. Master of genre painting, still life and landscape. Major works: “In the days of the German occupation” (1946); “Girls of Krasnodon” (1947); “On the Day off on the Dnieper” (1951); Farmers’ Collective Farm (1960); portrait of General F. T. Umansky (1964 – 1965) and others. I lived and worked in Kiev. He died in 1993. Works of N.P. Volkova is represented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
