Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Union of Artists. He was born on August 15, 1910 in the village of Kitayhorod (Chernihiv region). He studied: “Odessa Art Institute” from 1931-1936. Teachers by specialty – Yu. Bershadsky, P. Volokidin, T. Fraerman. He worked in the easel painting industry. Taught: “Kherson Art College”, from 1936-1940; “Odessa Art School” from 1946-1955. Member of the CPSU. Member of the Great Patriotic War. Awarded with medals. Participated in exhibitions: Republican since 1948, All-Union since 1955. Major works: “A. Pushkin and A. Mickiewicz “(1950); “To Your Own Shores” (1957); «Odessa port. The Whalers returned “(1960); Sparrows “(1964); triptych “Let’s not forget” (1961 – 1965) and others. The works of the painter are represented in many public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
