Vasilchenko Ilya Yefimovich

Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Union of Artists. He was born on August 1, 1916 in Troitsk, Chelyabinsk region. He studied at the studios of fine arts. Member of the CPSU. He was a member of the KhA SHU since 1963. Participated in republican and all-union exhibitions since 1957. He worked as an artist in the Kharkov art studios of the Art Fund of the Ukrainian SSR (1940-50-ies). Member of the Great Patriotic War. He worked in the field of easel painting and easel graphics. Major works: “In the foothills of Alatau” (1957); “The Road to a New Town” (1960); “In the studio” (1961); “In the depths of Siberian ores.” (1963); “Fishermen of the collective farm” Russia “(1966 – 1967),” Rabfakovtsy “(1971),” Return to the native brigade of the Kharkov Tractor Plant “(1985), etc. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1957.
