Tzion Rakhil Lvovna

Soviet Ukrainian artist, painter. She was born on December 5, 1916 in Slavuta (Khmelnytsky region). Graduated from the Kiev Art Institute, where she studied with Grigory Svetlitsky (1951). Worked in the direction of easel painting. She took part in republican and all-union exhibitions (since 1957). The works are in collections of the National Museum of Art (Kiev), Taganrog HM and private collections. Known works: “Red Square. Kiev “(1956),” Silence “(1960); “At the Matveyevka Glow” (1968), “Comfort” (1960). The works of the painter are widely represented in many public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad and are in deserved demand.
