Биография

Soviet Ukrainian painter. Honored Artist of Ukraine. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Ivan Andreevich Tyukha was born on January 2, 1920 in the village of Vlasovka in the Kyiv region. Member of the Great Patriotic War. Awarded the Order of the Red Star, medals. In 1952 he graduated from the Kiev Art Institute, where his teachers were S. Erzhikovsky, A. Sirotenko, K. Yelev, I. Shtilman, G. Melikhov, V. Kostetskiy, V. Boldyrev, S. Otroshchenko. Since 1951 I.A. Tyuha is a participant in republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions. The first personal exhibition of the painter took place in Kiev in 1957. Since 1958 – a member of the Kiev organization of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR.
Worked in the field of easel painting. Master of thematic paintings and landscapes. In 1995 he was awarded the title “Honored Artist of Ukraine”. The artist died on March 22, 2000. Major works: “On the structure of blast furnaces. Donbass “(1951); “Evening at the Seimas” (I960); “On the Renovated Land” (1964); “Monument Arsenaltsam”, “House M. Emelianov” (1969) and others. Lived and worked in Kiev. He died on March 22, 2000. The works of Ivan Andreevich Tyukha are represented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine, the USA, France, Canada.
