Ukrainian Soviet artist. Painter. Honored Artist of Ukraine since 2002. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Olga Gennadevna Titova was born July 3, 1937 in Kharkov in the family of artists Gennady Titov and Evdokiya Usikova. In 1963 she graduated from the Kiev State Art Institute, where she studied under M. Khmelko, I. Shtilman, V. Kostetskiy, T. Yablonskaya. During my studies I met my future husband, the artist Sytnik Vladimir Ivanovich. Since 1963 he has taken part in Republican, All-Union and foreign art exhibitions. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR from 1968. Worked in the field of easel painting. Master of the plot-thematic picture, portrait, landscape and still life. The author of the painting of the northern arch of St. Michael’s Golden-domed Monastery in Kiev (1999). Honored Art Worker of Ukraine since 2002. For many years she was engaged in teaching activities. The main works: The Blue Dream (1963), Mother and Child (1963), Bathing (1967) Father and Son (1972), The Boys, The Family (1970), The Aquarium 1970), “New Street” (1963); “To have” (1964); “On a visit” (1965); “Over the Dnieper River” (1967); “Blue Evening” (1968) and others. The works of Titova Olga Gennadyevna are represented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. She passed away in November 2017 in Kiev.
