Tailor Boris Yakovlevich

Soviet Ukrainian artist. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Honored Artist of Ukraine. He was born on October 8, 1937 in the village. Shrovka Khmelnitsky region, now lives in Zhitomir. In 1973 he graduated from the Art and Graphic Department of the Odessa Pedagogical Institute. The teacher of the specialty was P. Zlochevsky. In 1982, the first solo exhibition was held in the exhibition hall of the Union of Artists of Zhitomir. Since 1983 he is a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. In subsequent years, the artist’s works were successfully demonstrated at exhibitions in many countries. Works as a painter, graphic artist, monumentalist. Since 2001, Honored Artist of Ukraine. His works are in many museums and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, France, Poland, Hungary, Israel, Italy, the United States, and are kept in the funds of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the Union of Artists of Ukraine, in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Switzerland and Israel.
