Sleta Oksana Petrovna

Ukrainian painter. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Born in Kiev in 1950 in a family of artists. Oksana Slata is the daughter of the classics of Ukrainian painting, the creative duet of artists-spouses Peter Sleta and Galina Zori. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, the Department of Monumental Sculpture (T. Yablonskaya workshop). Since the 80’s he works in his own original style. Her still lifes gave the world a new vision of this genre in art: not as “things of man” and “things for man,” but as an integral part of nature, its consequences are fruits. Lives and works in Kiev.
