Биография
Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Yuri Fedorovich Sinister was born May 15, 1925 in the village Zachepilovka Kharkiv region. Member of the Great Patriotic War. Marked with military awards. In 1946 he entered the Dnepropetrovsk Art College, which he graduated with honors in 1951. His teachers were: N.S. Pogrebnyak, Т.А. Drozdova, M.N. Panin, N.A. Gluhenka. Sinister Yu.F. – Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Worked in the field of easel painting. Since 1951 – participant of regional, republican and all-union art exhibitions. From 1952 to 1967, the artist lived and worked in Mariupol (previously – Zhdanov), then moved to Kiev. Pictures Yu.F. Sinister was exhibited in 1976 in Belgium and Germany, in 1978 in Austria, in 1979, 1980 and 1981 in Japan. Personal exhibitions of the artist were held in 1958 in Mariupol and in 1985 in Kiev. Works of the painter are represented in Mariupol, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Ternopil, Ochakiv, Kramatorsk art and local history museums, in gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. The main works: “Summer Day” (1958); “Morning. Change “(1959); “Village of Shevchenko” (1961); “Yachts” (1963); “Evening in Sednev” (1964); “Over the Dnieper” (1968) and others. He died in 2001.
