Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Union of Artists. Master of easel painting. Born March 6, 1910 in Kharkov. In 1934 he graduated from HHI, Kiev Art Institute (1939). The teacher is F. Krichevsky. Member of the Great Patriotic War. Konstantin Alekseevich worked mainly in the field of landscape, still life, genre composition. From his works he admires, the splendor of the surrounding world, the comprehension of the beauties that appeared to him. The pictures depict Ukrainian landscapes – flowering gardens and snow-covered groves, wide plains and sea shores. His painting is characterized by a broad, picturesque manner of writing, emotional tension of color, lyricism. Creativity of the artist is based on closeness to nature, admiration of nature and joy of life. The peculiarity of his works is visible to the naked eye – contrasting transitions are used in the pictures, bright and pure colors are used. Major works: “Spring over the Dnieper” (1961); “Fires” of Azovstal “,” Near the Dnieper “(1963)” With bread salt (1965) Mariupol. Plant Ilyich “,” Mechanizers “(1967) and others. He participated in exhibitions: republican since 1947, all-Union since 1939. He lived and worked in Kiev. He is a participant of the Second World War, he was awarded orders and medals.
