Shkaraputa Nikolai Alexandrovich

Soviet Ukrainian artist. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. He was born on September 3, 1941 in Kiev. He graduated from the Kiev State Art Institute (1966). Teachers by specialty – K. Trokhimenko, G. Pisanko, V. Zaretsky. The monumentalist. The main works: painting with tempera and incrustation with straws of the banquet hall “Svetlitsa Cossack Usy”, Alexandria, Kirovograd region. (1970-71), Monum. painting “The Ways of the Universe” (G. Skovoroda) (1972), the stained-glass window “Movement towards light”, the Hungarian Embassy in Kiev (1978), the project of the cultural center of Ukraine in Paris (1980), “Flowers of Ukraine”, the lower funicular station (1984) . Member of the National Union of Artists (1970). The works of the painter are represented in many public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
