A Soviet Ukrainian painter, a representative of the Transcarpathian school of painting. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Known as a beautiful landscape painter. He was born in Prague in 1925. In 1943 he graduated from the art studio at the gymnasium in Prague, where he studied at I. Palivody, A. Navotni, M. Gay-Gaevsky. Since 1963, a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He led an active exhibition activity. In 1985, a solo exhibition was held in Uzhgorod. He died in Uzhgorod in 2000. The artist’s works are kept in museums and private collections.
