Ruban Grigory Savelievich

Soviet Ukrainian painter, landscape painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. He worked mainly in the field of landscape and genre painting. He was born in 1925. He studied at the Republican Art School. T. Shevchenko. After graduation, he returned to the city of Zaporozhye, where he continued his studies in G. Kolosovsky. Since 1956, he participated in exhibitions of the Zaporozhye Association of Artists. Member of All-Union, republican and regional exhibitions. His work has a rich, vivid coloring and professional writing technique. The artist’s works are kept in public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. He passed away in 1997.
