Ukrainian and Soviet artist. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts, Kiev branch. Vera Alexandrovna Repka (Andrievskaya) was born on August 12, 1942 in Feodosia. From 1961 to 1965 she studied at the Crimean Art College named after N.S. Samokisha under the leadership of AA. Puzyrevich. From 1965 to 1971 she studied at the Kiev State Art Institute in the studio of Professor VG Puzyrkov. From 1972 to 1974 she continued her studies at the creative workshops of the Academy of Arts of the USSR under the guidance of Professor S.A. Grigoriev. Since 1971 – participant of republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions. Repka V.A. – Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR since 1973. Since 1964 – the wife of the Honored Artist of Ukraine – Sergei Nikanorovich Repka. Works in the field of easel painting. Master of thematic painting, still life, landscape and portrait. The main pictures: “Soldiers’ Widows” (1971), “The Driver of Valya” (1971), “Portrait of Sergei Repka” (1973), “In Kiev” (1974), “Birch Juice” (1978) “Builder of the Nurek HPP” (1978), “Grape harvesting” (1978), “Night shift” (1980), “Kiev restorers” (1982), “Good Morning” (1985).
Personal exhibition of the artist was held in Kiev. Works of VA. Folders are represented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Canada, Japan, Germany, France, Finland, USA, Czech Republic and Slovakia. They are in constant demand among collectors. Lives and works in Kiev.
