Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Born February 3, 1923 in the village of Rogozny (now the Kiev region). He graduated from the Kharkov Art Institute (1953). Teachers by specialty – S. Besedin, O. Lyubimsky. Member of the CPSU. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He worked in the field of easel and monumental and decorative painting. Major works: “Tchaikovsky in Ukraine *” Triumph of Miner’s Labor “(1954 – 1955)”; For the first time to work “(1956)”; Builders-creators “(1962)”; Glory to Miners’ Labor (1963) and others. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1957, all-Union since 1953. He was awarded the Order of Glory 3rd degree, medals. Lived and worked in the city of Lugansk (Voroshilovgrad). Works are presented in Lugansk, Donetsk Regional art museums in other public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
