Olkhov Vladimir Nikolaevich

Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. He was born on July 30, 1956 in the city of Sevastopol. The first steps in art made in the studio of fine art under the direction of the artist Zatunsky S. In 1974 he graduated from the Sevastopol Children’s Art School. Teacher – Kovalenko V. Vladimir Nikolayevich Olkhov feels equally confident in such various techniques as watercolor, gouache and tempera. His landscapes are invariably lyrical, modest and sincere. With love, he writes out the timid first greens in the leaf “Spring. Razliv, delicate whiteness in the work “The Garden Has Bloomed,” the sea shore flooded with hot summer sun in the leaf “Crimea. Gurzuf. ” Very expressive in color trees on the sun-spotted land – “Crimea. Pines. ” The same modest, but full of self-esteem appears artist in the “Self-portrait.”
