Neledva Galina Alexandrovna

Soviet Ukrainian painter. Honored Artist of Ukraine. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Was born in 1938 in Dnepropetrovsk. Since 1957. to 1959g. studied at the Kiev Art Institute in the Faculty of Painting. Teachers by specialty – K. Trokhimenko, M. Khmelko, I. Shtilman. I passed an internship in Paris. Since 1959 he has been a regular participant of republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1963. Works are in the Tretyakov Gallery, the Museum of Ukrainian Art, the Museum of Russian Art, the State Museum of Art of Georgia, the Museum of Peter Ludwig (Cologne, Germany), regional museums and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, USA, England, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Italy, Israel and other countries. In 1968 she received the Silver Medal at the exhibition “Sport in Art”, in 1972 – the USSR Artists Union Award for Best Work of the Year, in 1979 – the Union of Artists Medal for a series of portraits, in 1988 – the First Prize at the “Painting of Ukraine” , Kiev, in 1989 – the Union of Artists’ Prize at the “Painting USSR” competition, Moscow. Participant of the Biennale in Venice (1982, 1984).
A number of paintings the artist wrote in co-authorship with her husband, the artist Ryzhikh Viktor Ivanovich. In 1989 he was awarded the title “Honored Artist of Ukraine”.
