Soviet Ukrainian painter, graphic artist. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Anatoly Pavlovich Lutsenko was born July 11, 1928 in Kharkov. From 1949 to 1955 he studied at the Kharkov State Art Institute, where his teacher was Petr Ivanovich Kotov. In 1955-56, Lutsenko A.P. taught at the Kharkov Children’s Art School. I.E. Repin, later – in the Kharkov Art College. His students were: Babenko IA, Leshchenko TI, Sudakov AL, Udovenko AI, Yakunin NV and other famous artists. Since 1957 – participant of city, republican, all-Union and international art exhibitions. Member of the Kharkov branch of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1962. His works are kept in the Kharkov Art Museum, in gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
