Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Union of Artists. He was born on April 20, 1930 in the city of Lubotin, Kharkov region. He graduated from the Kharkov Art School (1951) and the Kharkov Art Institute (1952-1959). Teachers on the specialty – O. Kokel, E. Egorov, M. Slipchenko, V. Sizikov, L. Fitilev, M. Ribalchenko, S. Solodovnik. Member of the CPSU. He worked in the easel painting industry. Was engaged in teaching activities – Odessa Art College. M.B. Grekova (1960-1965) and the Odessa Pedagogical Institute (1972). The main works: a portrait of a blacksmith named after the January Uprising, Deputy of the Supreme Council of the USSR D. Ovsyannikov (I960); “Kovale” (1960 – 1961); “Spring Morning” (1963) and others. Participated in exhibitions: republican from 1960, foreign since 1965. Major works: “Portrait of a blacksmith from the name of the January Uprising, Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the USSR D. Ovsyannikov” (I960); “Kovale” (1960 – 1961); “Spring Morning” (1963) and others. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1960, foreign since 1965. The works of the painter are represented in many public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
