Soviet Ukrainian artist, painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Minskaya Marina Grigoryevna was born on April 11, 1947 in Kiev. The daughter of the famous Ukrainian artist Minsk Grigory Semenovich, the granddaughter of Minsk Semyon Solomonovich – the Odessa portrait painter, the pupil K. Kostandi and G. Ladyzhensky. From 1958 to 1965, Marina Minskaya studied at the Republican Secondary School of Art. T.G. Shevchenko. Its teachers were S. Bondarenko, G. Kiyanchenko, A. Babkova. From 1966 to 1971 she continued her studies at the Kiev State Art Institute, where she studied at M. Khmelko, A. Sirotenko, A. Basantz, A. Plamenitsky, V. Vyrodova – Gauthier. With distinction she defended her diploma thesis “Poshtarky”. In the marriage Lelchuk-Minsk. Since 1968 she has participated in republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR from 1982. Works in the field of easel painting. Master of thematic paintings, portraits, landscapes and still lifes. Carried out a series of personal exhibitions. The works of Marina Grigorievna Lelchuk-Minsk are represented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine, USA, Great Britain, France, Italy, Germany, Japan and other countries.
