Kupnevsky Boris Leonidovich

Soviet Ukrainian artist. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Born May 1, 1910 in Korsun (Korsun-Shevchenkovsky, Cherkasy region). He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1934). Teachers by specialty – F. Krichevsky, M. Berenshtein, K. Yelev. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He worked in the easel painting industry. The main works: “Domna” Komsomolka “is being built” (1935); “ABOUT. M. Gorky in the patient VI Lenin »(1949); “First cares” (1960); “In the native collective farm” (1961); “Bukovinsky milkmaids” (1967), “Komsomol wedding” (1971) and others. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1937. The works of the painter are kept in many state and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
