Kucherov Alexander Alexandrovich

Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR from 1977. He was born on January 10, 1936 in Snigirevka. He graduated from Dnepropetrovsk Art College, Kiev State Art Institute (1966). Teachers by specialty: V. Shatalin, V. Kostetsky, L. Vitkovsky. The main works: “Birds” (1967), “Roads” (1971), “Visiting Grandfather” (1973), “Winter” (1974), “Son” (1974, 1989), “Kyiv and Kiev” (1975), “War years” (1975, 1981), “Fishing barges”, “Winter day” (both 1980), “Longboats” (1983), “The End of Summer” (1984), “Seeking a Path for Jesus” ( 1991), Glebov’s Arbor (2001), Vesna (2002), Oak (2007). Author of genre paintings, landscapes and still lifes. Participant of republican, all-Union and international art exhibitions. The works of the painter are kept in many state and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
