Kostenko Anatoly Alexandrovich

Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. He was born on March 29, 1920 in the village of Ivanovna in the Kherson region. He studied at the Kharkov Art Institute from 1946 to 1949 in N. Baryshev, A. Kokel. A veteran of the Great Patriotic War, awarded the Order of the Patriotic War II degree, medals. Participated in art exhibitions since 1952. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1963. He died on February 23, 1996 in Dnepropetrovsk. His works are kept in the Dnepropetrovsk Art Museum, Kanev Museum-Reserve in other state and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
