Klimov Anatoly Petrovich

Soviet and Ukrainian artist. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Honored Artist of Ukraine (1996). Chl. NSHU (1975). He graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Art School (1962, teachers: M. Borovsky, J. Kalashnik, G. Chernyavsky). Since then, he has been a teacher at the Vladimir-Volin Pedagogical School (Volin Oblast); from 1964 – in the Volinsk Department of Art. Fund of the Ukrainian SSR (Lutsk); 1989-91 – the head of the Volin organization of the Union of Socialist Republics. Member of the region, alluk., Zarubizh. Mist. exhibitions from 1964. Persons. – in Lutsk (1970, 1973, 1986, 2006-07), Rivne (1976), Volodymyr-Volinsky (1984). In the realist. styles creates plot pictures, portraits, landscapes, still lifes. Some works are kept in the Volyn Museum of Local History, the Museum of the outstanding figures of Ukrainian culture Lesya Ukrainka, M. Lisenko, P. Saksaganskogo, M. Staritsky (Kiev).
