Klimenko Viktor Ivanovich

Soviet painter and graphic artist. Member of the USSR Union of Artists. Born May 1, 1932 in the village. Cheerful Donetsk region. Honored Artist of Ukraine (2000). Member of NSHU (1982). He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1964, Rev. V. Kostetsky, V. Puzirkov, O. Sirotenko). He worked in the years 1964-98. the artist of the Dnepropetrovsk Television Studio and the Cherkassy Art and Production Combine; on creative work; Since 2002. – Professor of the Department of Painting at the University of Cherkassy. The main theme of creativity is the War of Liberation under the leadership of B. Khmelnitsky. Author of historical multi-figures. compositions, portraits of historical figures. Member of Ukrainian and international art exhibitions since 1961. Personal – in Cherkassy (1982, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007), Kiev (1986, 1995-96, 2001, 2005, 2007), Kanev (1991, 1997) Kamenka (1997, 2008) and Chigirin (1999, all – Cherkasy region).
