Klets Ivan Tarasovich

Ukrainian Soviet painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Klets Ivan Tarasovich was born on January 3, 1947 in with. Forest (Manevitsky district, Volyn region) – Honored Artist of Ukraine (2009). Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (1978). In 1976 he graduated from the Kiev Art Institute and from that year he lived in Chernivtsi. He worked in the field of easel painting, in the genre of thematic composition, portrait and landscape. He worked in the Chernivtsi artistic and industrial combine. For the realistic manner of Klets, IT is characterized by attention to the illuminated person; used coloristic contrast to achieve the psychological characteristics of the image. Separate works are stored in the Chernivtsi Art and Local Lore museums. Member of All-Ukrainian, All-Union and foreign exhibitions. He had solo exhibitions in Chernivtsi (1978, 2007).
