Kirichenko Elena Stepanovna

A Soviet Ukrainian painter, an artist of monumental art. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Born July 19, 1937 in Kiev in the family of painters. The daughter of artists Stepan Kirichenko and Zinaida Volkovinskaya. Member of the National Union of Artists (1968). Zakononchil Kiev Art Institute (1963; Rev. V. Kostetskiy, K. Trokhimenko, O. Shovkunenko). She worked in Kiev as a pro-active artist in the magazine “Soviet Woman” (1957-1960) and “Pioneer” (1958-1961), the publishing house “Soviet Writer” (1961-1965). On creative work. Taught at the art school in Kiev. Participant of city, all-Ukrainian, all-union exhibitions of fine arts from 1957. Personal – posthumous in Kiev (2004). She created landscapes, portraits, thematic paintings, mosaic panels. I used the technique of tempera. paintings. She died on December 13, 2003 in Kiev. Creativity: sketches of scenery and costumes for the performance of the “Pathetic Sonata” by M. Kulish (1963), opera “The Queen of Spades” by P. Tchaikovsky (1968); mosaic – “Forest Song” (1970, m.
