Kholuev Vladimir Fedorovich

Soviet painter. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1975). He was born in 1932 (Ryazan region). He graduated from Ryazan Art College (1948-1951) and the Institute. I.E. Repin AH USSR (1951-1957). Painter. He worked mainly in the field of genre and historical painting. The author of paintings on the working class. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1960. Chairman of the Board of Gorky organization of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR (1975-1977, 1982-1983). Since 1957 he has been a regular participant of regional exhibitions. Exhibitor zonal (“Big Volga”, 1964, 1970, 1974, 1980), republican (Moscow, 1960, 1965, 1970), All-Union (Moscow, 1957, 1967) art exhibitions. Personal exhibitions V.F. Kholuev was held in Nizhny Novgorod in 2003 and in St. Petersburg in 2003. The artist’s works are in the State Russian Museum, in the Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum and in private collections.
