Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Born November 22, 1922 in the village of Ulaklah (Donetsk region). He graduated from the Kharkov Art Institute (1958). Teachers by specialty – O. Lyubimsky, V. Sizikov, J. Karas. Member of the CPSU. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He worked in the easel painting industry. The main works: a portrait of an advanced welder L. Lysenko (1960); “Spring”, “The Lord Burn” (1961); “Waits” (1964); “In Starobilshchina” “Portrait of a Miner” (1969) and others. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1960. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star, medals.
