Soviet Ukrainian painter. Honored Artist of Ukraine (1997). Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1962). He was born on January 30, 1920 at the Taurian farm (Kursk region). He graduated from the Kharkov Art Institute (1953). Teachers by specialty – O. Lyubimsky, M. Ribalchenko, P. Kotov. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He worked in the field of easel, monumental painting and book graphics. The main works: “Donetsk landscape” (1957); “Death of the Conquest” (1958); “Steps of the Revolution” (1961); “Communards” (1963); painting the Palace of Happiness in Voroshilovgrad (1966) and others. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1957.
