Grachev Anatoly Nikolayevich

Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. He was born in 1922, in the village of Boyarka, Kiev region. He studied: Kiev Art Institute (1939 – 1941). Painter and graphic artist. Master of genre painting, landscape and still life. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1970). Major works: Portrait of a Girl (1965), An Old Woman (1966), Lenin among Children (1968), Sailors in Battle (1971), Golden Autumn (1980), Rowan (1981) , “Herd at the Watering Place” (1988). He took part in city and republican exhibitions since 1953. He lived and worked in Boyarka. The author’s works are presented in many public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. He died in 1998.
