Soviet artist-ceramist. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Born May 3, 1927 in the village of Olgopoly, Vinnytsia region. He graduated from the Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1957). Teachers by specialty – M. Belyaev, T. Porozhnyak, F. Tkachenko. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He worked in the decorative arts (art ceramics). The main works: decorative thematic vases: “Heroes-Black Sea” (1957); “The Miners of Ukraine” (1960); “Soldiers of the Revolution” (1967); dishes, souvenirs and others. He participated in exhibitions: republican since 1957, all-Union since 1959. Based on the works of T.G. Shevchenko performed decorative plates “Gamaliya”, “Catherine”, “Kobzar” and “Perebendya” (all – 1961), “Bandurist”, “Haydamaky”, “I’m the thirteenth minalo …” and decor. a vase of “Gaydamak” (all – 1964).
