Gevelyuk Nikolai Petrovich

Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Honored Artist of the USSR. Was born in with. Karnogorove (Novopodilsk) of the Berezovsky district of the Odessa region. In 1952 he graduated from the seven-year school. From 1953-1958 he studied at the Odessa Art School. The artist is a painter. From 1958-1964 years. – Training in the Kiev Art Institute. Teachers – О.P. Attsmanchuk, G.Z. Krizhevsky, M.I. Khmelko, V.M. Kostetsky, K.D. Trokhimenko. Since 1964 – artist of artistic and industrial workshops of the Art Fund of the Ukrainian SSR. Lutsk. Since 1971 – member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. From 1964, 1977-1979 years. – was the main artist of the Art – production workshops of the KhM of the Ukrainian SSR. Since 1989 – awarded the title – Honored Artist of Ukraine. The author of realistic landscapes, still lifes, household and genre paintings and portraits. He has participated in regional, republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions since 1965. June 11, 1999, he died. in the city of Lutsk. The artist’s paintings are in many museum public and private collections.
