Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Gavrilyuk Nikolai Stepanovich was born on November 25, 1927 in the Volyn region (Mikhnov village). He studied at the Crimean Art College. NS Samokisha (1946-1951) from MP Kroshitsky, MM Shcheglov, VD Bernadsky, FZ Zakharov. In 1951 he completed the thesis “On the collective farm current”. Lived in Simferopol. I painted landscapes, still lifes, thematic pictures. Author of paintings: “Gifts of the Crimea” (1952), “Vegetables” (1956), “The River Gortyn” (1957), “Roses” (1960), “The New World” (1961), “November in the Crimea” (1966). ), “Evening” (1967) and others. Since 1954 – participant of exhibitions (9th regional exhibition of works of artists of Crimea in Simferopol). Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (since 1968). Exhibited at exhibitions: works of artists of Crimea in Simferopol (1955, 1960, 1963 – dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution) and Kiev (1956); the jubilee art exhibition dedicated to the 40th anniversary of Soviet power (1957), “50 years of the Komsomol” (1968) in Simferopol and others.
His works are kept in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
Lived and worked in the city of Simferopol. He died on June 20, 1998 in the city of Simferopol.
