Gal’kun Tatyana Dmitrievna

Ukrainian painter, People’s Artist of Ukraine, Professor of the Department of Fine Arts of the Volyn National University named after Lesya Ukrainka. She was born in 1947. From 1966 to 1972 – Training in the Kiev Art Institute. Teachers – T. Golembievskaya, V. Shatalin, V. Kostetsky. From 1972 to 1993 – worked at the Volynsky Khudozhestvenno-proizvodstvennij kombinat. Since 1993 – senior lecturer, and since 2004 – Head of the Department of Education. art of Volyn University. Member of the USSR from 1972. Since 1994 – Honored Artist of Ukraine. Since 1999 – Associate Professor of Volyn University. Lesia Ukrainka. Since 2004 – People’s Artist of Ukraine. Participated in numerous exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. Has created more than 600 thematic paintings, portraits, landscapes and still lifes, most of them are preserved in domestic art galleries, public and state organizations, private collections. Participated in 19 foreign, 26 republican, 74 regional and regional, 15 personal exhibitions, 12 international planners. Diploma of many exhibitions and competitions.
