Forostetskiy Vasily Fedorovich

Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. He was born on January 13, 1913 in Skadovsk (Kherson region). He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1940). Teachers in the specialty -V. Krichevsky, I. Khvorostetsky, V. Zabolotny. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He worked in the field of easel painting, book graphics, posters. Major works: a series of lithographs for the album “Ivan Fedorov” (1949); The artistic design of the books “The Red Ring” by V.
