Ukrainian Soviet painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. He was born on December 11, 1927 in Boguslav, the Kiev region. He studied at the Sverdlovsk Art School (1942 – 1944), graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1950). Teachers by specialty – M. Ivanov, O. Fomin, O. Sirotenko, T. Yablonskaya, O. Shovkunenko. He worked in the easel painting industry. Major works: “Young Chefs of the Forest” (1952); “The Dnieper Distances” (1954); “To the Tomb of the Great Kobzar”, “Kiev. Near the monument “Golden Gate” (1961) “; Leningrad. On the Neva “(1964),” The Road to Yalta “(1976) and others. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1951, took part in numerous exhibitions in the USSR and abroad. He died in 2006. Works of the painter are in many public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
