Bilan Pyotr Ilyich

Soviet Ukrainian painter. Honored Artist of the USSR. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Was born in with. New Nikolaevka, Zaporozhye region. He studied at the Leningrad Art School (1946 – 1948), then at the Kiev Art Institute (1949 – 1955). Since 1957 he took an active part in regional and republican exhibitions. Honored Artist of the USSR from 1985. Author of landscapes, still lifes, thematic paintings and portraits. The works are in the Kiev Historical Museum, Lviv National Museum and other museums of Ukraine. in private collections in Ukraine and abroad. The artist’s paintings are in demand in the art market of Ukraine.
