Balabin Alexander Fedorovich

Soviet artist, teacher, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1975 .. He was born in the village Lichadeevo, Nizhny Novgorod region, November 30, 1922. Graduated: “Penza Art College. K. A. Savitsky “(1946-1948):” Kharkov State Art Institute “(1948-1954). Participated in exhibitions since 1954. Master of a thematic picture, portrait. He taught: “Kursk Art and Graphic Pedagogical School” (1954-1960) and at the art and graphic faculty of the Kursk State Pedagogical Institute from 1960-1976. (Dean of the Faculty) ; Lived and worked in Kursk. Member of regional, republican and all-Union exhibitions. He died on June 10, 1977. The artist’s paintings are in many public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
